My New Blog! Citizen Orange

A lot of big things have been happening recently, and thus my absence from blogging.  I'll be able to expose more over the next week or so, but the amazing Nezua through his Xolagrafik Designs has been working on a new blog for me.  I thought I'd be able to get up and run with it, but it's taking me a little bit longer to get the hang of Movable Type than I thought it would.  Either way you can see the intro page at www.citizenorange.com, and eventually you'll be able to access the blog at www.citizenorange.com/orange.  Just wanted to let everyone know what I was up to.

  • "AMERICAN HARVEST" helps Hisanics by educating Americans that immigration reform in necessary. And why!

Politicians and Americans for that matter should take a look at "American Harvest." Its a non-partisan feature length documentary about immigration as it relates to agriculture. It presents the facts as they are without political bias.

    http://www.americanharvestmovie.com

    American Harvest Synopsis

Anti-immigration sentiment sweeps across America. A journey from Florida to New York, including a trip to the Mexican border, reveals the lives and issues of legal and illegal migrants and farmers working toward a better life. Is the immigration system in America flawed? Immigrants are dying to feed America.

American farmers and agriculture rely on immigrants to do jobs that Americans won't do or feel that are simply beneath them. Some only see the problems in the news from the perspective of those extreme points of view of the left and the right side of our political system.

Discrimination of immigrants has existed in the United States since the English persecuted the Irish. It was once generally considered that if you were Greek or Southern Italian you were not white.

American Harvest points out the inconsistencies of the current policy on immigration. See the changing face of immigrant America as it relates to Agriculture.

Follow legal and illegal farm workers and the farmers caught in the middle of a flawed immigration policy.

Every farmer I have spoken to wants to secure our borders. But they also want a workable solution to LEGAL immigrant labor.

Americans have to understand that we all need to appreciate and respect those people who grow and harvest our crops.

The men and women that put food on our kitchen tables deserve no less.

    Kyle,

it is unbelievable that you question all that the Government has done with regard to the immigration laws and their inforcement. Their screw up of the raid, the investigation etc..etc.. etc., but you never question if what it was said about the working conditions and the treatment of the employees, is true or false.

Do you really think that officiald from the pentagon and the Army would visit the facilty four time a week and any time they wanted to enter the work floor and allow that to happen? Did you ever try to investigate instead than copying from another article written by someone that all they id was copying from what the US Attorney wrote in a complain. Are you sure you want to send to jain the owner and the managers without really knowing if what wasaid is true?

    Think about it.

Thank you for being on the frontlines of this war on ignorance. There are those among us who have forgotten that they didn't just sprout up out of the ground here in America. But, some undocumented immigrant found there way to this land of promise. This America. Here equal opportunity is available to all who come to her boarders and shores. She is represented by the Statute of Liberty, the "Mother of Exiles" who cries from the inscription upon which she stands, "Give me your... tired... wretched refuse... homeless... yearing to breathe free." The Florida Legal Research Group, LLC stands proudly with you and to our continued commitment as a U.S Department of Labor immigrant employer and immigrant non-attorney legal service provider. Helping you is what we do.
